THE ASSESSOR
Published bi-monthly, The Assessor delivers insightful coverage of the motor insurance and collision repair industries across the UK—and, when relevant, internationally. Each issue features a mix of national and regional news, in-depth articles, product highlights, service spotlights, case studies, interviews, and meeting reports.
As part of the design team, I collaborated closely with the editorial staff to create visually engaging layouts for a wide range of B2B content, from industry interviews and meeting summaries to updates from the IAEA—the institute behind the publication.
During my time as lead designer, The Assessor underwent a significant transformation. With frequent changes in editorial leadership, the magazine’s content evolved, prompting a major redesign that unfolded across several issues.
This redesign allowed us to refresh the visual identity of the publication. We introduced a new colour scheme and updated the structure of recurring content, making the magazine more accessible and reader-friendly. These changes not only modernised the look and feel of the magazine but also improved the overall reading experience by helping readers quickly find the information most relevant to them.
